-Oedipus was the leader/king, never personally knew his mother, wife died, fell inlove with older woman(mother), took knives and stabbed threw eyes so he wouldnt have people looking at him
-Would bring athens death, destruction,
-Sparta was only Greek city state who still matched Athen's power
-Fatal Flaw-great leader, great person, messes up in one way, can't overcome, Periclees-can't be satisfied, needs to conquor Sparta, power over everyone but them
-Hubris=excessive pride and arrogantness, leads to decide to conquor (now i've done it all attitude)
-Not easy way to win war,
